Ongar Art Society presents Quentin Martin on Thursday 12th September at Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall, 8-10pm.
Quentin will host a demonstration whereby he will paint a portrait, whilst sharing techniques, skills & equipment used.
A little information about Quentin:Quentin Martin, b.1996, is a painter and architectural designer. Working mostly in oils, his subjects mainly include landscapes as well as still life and people.
After his first joint exhibition for the Beaminster Festival in 2011, at the age of 15, Quentin went on to receive art scholarships to Perrott Hill, Bryanston, The Architectural Association, The Essential School of Painting and The Royal Bath and West Show. Quentin recently graduated with an Architecture MA from the Royal College of Art. He also teaches painting and drawing privately.

We therefore look forward to welcoming @quentinmartinartist on 12 th September at Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall, Hook End, Brentwood. First meeting is free for guests. There will be refreshments available in the interval for the small sum of 50p.

Our members have been able to enjoy a selection of workshops hosted by art tutors, in a variety of mediums, over the past few months.
This painting is an excellent example of how useful the workshops can be, in order to learn new techniques & hone the skills of the artist.
The landscape began life in a workshop presented by Susan Gray, painted in acrylic by member, Carol Poulton.Ongar Art Society members are able to attend workshops arranged by our committee at a discounted price plus attend monthly art demonstrations free.
New members are very welcome at Ongar Art Society.
