March Demonstration
Linocut Techniques
Ongar Art Society looks forward to welcoming Eleanor Mulinder of @weebothyart on Thursday 13th March, 8-10 pm at Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall, Hook End, Brentwood, who will demonstrate the amazing art of linocut.
A few words from Eleanor:
Hi! I am Eleanor, co-owner of Wee Bothy Art, which I run with my daughter Holly. I am a born and bred Scot, growing up in Glasgow. I am an Honours Graduate from Glasgow School of Art, where I studied Graphic Design. I have a PGCE and have taught Art and Design in secondary schools for nearly 30 years. My passion has always been in printmaking and I am now so pleased to be working with my daughter and very excited for what lies ahead.
All members & guests are welcome to observe Eleanor as she guides us through the process of linocut. First time attendance is free. New & prospective members are very welcome. Refreshments will be available during the interval.

Information for Ongar Art Society Members
Our Summer Exhibition is planned for Saturday/Sunday 14/15th June 2025 at Budworth Hall, Ongar.
The handing in day for all artwork will be Friday 13 June. More details will follow closer to the time. Please pop these dates in your diaries.
The judging of the latest competition - Tools, will also be undertaken at this meeting during the interval, by secret ballot.
New members are very welcome at Ongar Art Society.

All genre of artwork and mediums, including drawing/painting, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics etc are welcome.
​
We also offer friendly painting Competitions and Free Access to our Social Summer Sketching Club, art demonstrations and talks.
​
Priority access to our extensive Art Workshop Programme and our Taster Workshops, new for 2024!
​
Annually, we invite a critique whom provides independent advice of Members Artwork.
​
Annual Membership Fee is only £40.
